A close ally of Vladimir Putin, Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, has claimed that Elon Musk “switched off” a machine gun-mounted Cybertruck reportedly sent to him. Kadyrov suggested that Musk had provided the vehicle as a gift; however, the Tesla CEO has denied any involvement in sending the Cybertruck to Kadyrov. Musk also refuted the claim that he had disabled the vehicle’s functions.
Ramzan Kadyrov, a close associate of Vladimir Putin and the leader of Chechnya, has alleged that Elon Musk “switched off” a machine gun-mounted Cybertruck that was purportedly delivered to him. Kadyrov implied that Musk had gifted the vehicle. However, the Tesla CEO has denied both sending the Cybertruck to Kadyrov and any involvement in disabling its functionality.
However, two days later, Elon Musk denied gifting the Cybertruck to Ramzan Kadyrov. In response, Kadyrov has now accused the Tesla and SpaceX CEO of remotely disabling the £145,000 vehicle after it was deployed in combat.
