Rapper Offset has denied allegations that he initiated a physical altercation at a Los Angeles cannabis dispensary, according to newly filed court documents.
The Migos member is facing a lawsuit from a security guard, Jim Sanchez, who claims the incident occurred at MedMen LAX in March 2025. Sanchez alleges that Offset became “hostile” and “verbally confrontational” after being asked to present identification, before striking him in the face and being joined by members of his entourage.
The security guard further claims he was hospitalized following the incident and continues to suffer from ongoing physical injuries, including headaches and neck pain. He is seeking damages for assault, battery, and emotional distress.
In response, Offset has denied all allegations of wrongdoing and is asking the court to dismiss the case in its entirety. His legal team argues that he was not responsible for the alleged injuries and maintains that the security guard allegedly provoked the confrontation.
Offset’s representatives have also previously alleged that the guard escalated the situation by spitting on the rapper prior to the incident.
The case remains ongoing, with Offset previously pleading not guilty after being charged with a misdemeanor count of simple battery.#newsafro_
