On Wednesday, Danielle Lloyd, 41, formerly crowned Miss Great Britain, publicly exhibited the results of a substantial weight loss in a gym selfie shared via Instagram. In the accompanying post, she disclosed having lost 23 pounds—equivalent to just under two stone.
Dressed in coordinated grey activewear, Ms. Lloyd displayed a visibly defined abdomen, notably slim waist, and overall toned physique, reportedly in preparation for an upcoming Pilates session.
In the caption accompanying her post, Ms. Lloyd wrote: “Spray tans & Pilates Wednesdays are my favourite. Feeling so body confident. 23lb down.”
The post prompted an immediate and overwhelmingly positive response from her followers, who submitted comments such as: “Wow! You look incredible!”, “Looking fab beaut.”, “You look amazing.”, “Looking great babe.”, and “You look absolutely amazing, go girl xx.”
In September of last year, Ms. Danielle Lloyd disclosed the measures she now employs to maintain her slender physique, having elected to forgo further cosmetic surgical procedures.
Historically, Ms. Lloyd underwent multiple aesthetic enhancements, including liposuction, a Brazilian butt lift, breast augmentation, an eye-lift, and jaw-tightening. However, she has since resolved not to pursue additional surgical interventions and has even reversed certain prior enhancements, such as dissolving her lip fillers, in pursuit of a more natural appearance.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the mother-of-five stated that she has adopted ketone supplements as part of her weight management regimen, explaining: “They help me feel good about myself and they burn fat as well.”
Ketones are organic compounds produced by the liver when the body is low on carbohydrates and begins to metabolize fat for energy.
While a number of public figures have recently turned to medications such as Ozempic—a weekly injectable initially developed to regulate blood glucose levels via increased insulin production and also known for its weight loss effects—Ms. Lloyd has not yet pursued this method. She did, however, acknowledge: “I wouldn’t say never. But I feel like I know how to lose weight.”#newsafro_
