The main event of WrestleMania 42 descended into chaos after Jelly Roll shocked fans by violently attacking Pat McAfee at ringside.
The incident unfolded during the WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, with McAfee in Orton’s corner. Tensions escalated quickly as Jelly Roll appeared in support of Rhodes and immediately targeted McAfee before the match officially got underway.
The situation spiraled when McAfee was driven onto the announcer’s table and then sent crashing through it in a devastating impact that left debris scattered around ringside. The spectacle drew a loud reaction from the crowd inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
McAfee was eventually taken out on a stretcher, though he defiantly reacted to the crowd as he was removed. The chaos didn’t end there — later interference in the match saw McAfee briefly return as a referee substitute before being taken out again.
Despite the mayhem, Rhodes managed to retain his title, capitalizing on the confusion to defeat Orton. However, the celebration didn’t last long, as Orton delivered a brutal post-match attack that left Rhodes laid out in the ring.
The wild finish capped off a main event that quickly turned from championship showdown into one of the most chaotic scenes of the night, setting the stage for more drama heading into night two of the event.#newsafro_
