Soap opera and social media star Jessica Serfaty has discovered the invasive potential of technology after finding an Apple AirTag secretly placed in her car, tracking her movements. Law enforcement sources told Newsafro that Jessica, who plays Sloan-Petersen Brady on “Days of Our Lives,” was alerted to the tracking device while she was in Malibu, as her phone notified her about the AirTag in her Range Rover.
Jessica was understandably alarmed upon discovering the AirTag, as she had neither placed it in her SUV nor seen it before. She feared someone might have hidden it in her car, possibly in the engine compartment, to monitor her. Sheriff’s deputies arrived and conducted a search but were unable to locate the device. It remains unclear whether the AirTag fell off or was removed. The police filed a report for unauthorized use of an electronic device, and detectives are currently working to identify the AirTag’s owner using information from Jessica’s phone.
Possible motives for the suspect include stalking, burglary, or car theft, all of which are understandably unsettling for Jessica. We reached out to Jessica’s team for comment, but they declined to provide a statement.
