Mr. Josh Duhamel, aged 52 and known for his role in Ransom Canyon, has publicly remarked on his 11-year-old son, Axl, in what constitutes an infrequent disclosure concerning the minor. Mr. Duhamel, who has relocated from Hollywood to Minnesota in pursuit of a less complex lifestyle, stated that he has recently gained a preview of the social dynamics associated with impending adolescence following Axl’s attendance at a summer camp.
Mr. Duhamel shares parental responsibilities for Axl, who will attain the age of 12 later this month, with his former spouse, Ms. Fergie, aged 50. In an interview with People magazine, Mr. Duhamel stated: “I have an 11-year-old who just went to camp in Minnesota and met a girl he really likes.”
Mr. Duhamel further elaborated that his son has expressed a strong desire to reunite with the female acquaintance he met during camp, stating, “He really wants to see this girl again from camp.” Mr. Duhamel responded to his son’s request by remarking, “Dude! You’re not even 12.” He clarified that any such meeting would occur under direct parental supervision.
The actor, known for his role in Love, Victor, added, “Having a son with a crush is a new one for me, as a parent, anyway. But I get it, I’ve been there.”
Mr. Duhamel, speaking in a jocular manner, remarked, “I have an 18-month-old baby who is still pooping his pants, and I just hope it doesn’t inverse. I hope that the 11-year-old doesn’t poop his pants on his first date. That would be terrible.”
Mr. Duhamel shares his youngest son, Shepherd, aged 18 months, with his current spouse, Ms. Audra Mari, aged 31. The comments were made in connection with promotional activities for his collaboration with CarGurus on their new video series, The Big Deal Show.
Noting that his interest in automobiles predated his roles in the Transformers film franchise, Mr. Duhamel told the outlet, “I think that it’s such a personal thing to own a car, and especially your first car — what that means and all the memories that come with that.”
Regarding his elder son Axl’s eventual operation of a motor vehicle, Mr. Duhamel expressed both anticipation and apprehension. He stated, “I’m already kind of training him. I’ll put him in my lap and teach him, ‘Okay, this is what you do, and this is what you look for, this is what you’ve got to scan,’ just to start getting him accustomed to what it takes to actually handle the responsibility of being a driver. I want to get that in his head as soon as possible.”#newsafro_
