“Our show would not have been possible without him,” Mr. Seinfeld remarked, further noting that Mr. Reiner recognized the series’ potential when others within the network did not. He emphasized that Mr. Reiner’s advocacy was instrumental during a critical juncture in his career.
Mr. Seinfeld additionally reflected upon Mr. Reiner’s personal life, stating that the more than thirty-five-year marriage between Rob and Michele Reiner exemplified a successful partnership, serving as a model for both personal and professional relationships. He concluded his tribute by describing the joint demise of Mr. and Mrs. Reiner as “impossibly sad.”
