Robyn Lively stated that she remains uncertain about her family’s holiday plans with her sister Blake Lively and brother-in-law Ryan Reynolds, noting that the uncertainty comes at a time when Blake Lively is engaged in ongoing litigation involving Justin Baldoni. Speaking to People during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event in Inglewood, California, Robyn explained that their family typically finalizes holiday arrangements closer to the actual dates and that this year is no exception.
Robyn’s husband, Bart Johnson, added that the family traditionally enjoys the Christmas season, while Robyn noted that, despite not yet having formal plans for December festivities, she and her immediate family see Blake and Ryan frequently throughout the year. Robyn and Johnson share three children: Kate, age 20, Baylen, age 27, and Wyatt Blake Johnson, age 17. Their daughter Kate, who was present at the event, commented that she enjoys spending time with her younger cousins, describing a close familial relationship.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds share four children: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and a younger son named Olin. Robyn has previously discussed the strength of her relationship with Blake despite their significant age difference, noting that their bond has deepened as both navigate parenthood.
Since December 2024, Blake Lively has been involved in a legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, who directed and starred alongside her in It Ends With Us. Lively initiated the matter by filing a complaint alleging sexual harassment and reputational harm. In response, Baldoni filed a countersuit seeking substantial monetary damages for alleged defamation and extortion; however, a judge dismissed his counterclaims in June 2025. The case has also involved various attempted subpoenas, including an effort by Baldoni to compel testimony from Taylor Swift.
The conflict, which began prior to the film’s August 2025 release, is ongoing. Both parties are scheduled to appear in the U.S. District Court in March 2026.#newsafro_
