Mr. Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, is reportedly planning a high-profile return to the music industry, with aspirations to headline a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to Mr. Marc Agnifilo, lead counsel for Mr. Combs, the artist has expressed a clear intention to stage a comeback performance at the iconic venue. In an interview with CBS Mornings, scheduled to air Thursday, Mr. Agnifilo stated: âHe’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden â and I said Iâll be there.â
Mr. Agnifilo further conveyed that Mr. Combs has expressed a desire to reunite with his family and close supporters following his release, stating that his client wishes to âget back with his mother, and the people who love him and miss him.â
Mr. Marc Agnifilo, lead counsel for Mr. Sean âDiddyâ Combs, stated that his client intends to reestablish a meaningful and consistent relationship with his seven children upon his release from incarceration. âI think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children,â Agnifilo told CBS Mornings correspondent Jericka Duncan.
When asked whether Mr. Combs had expressed a desire to return to music, Agnifilo clarified: âNoâhonestly, he has not.â However, he recalled one specific remark from Mr. Combs, stating, âHe said heâs going to be back in Madison Square Garden.â When pressed by Duncan on what that would entail, Agnifilo responded, âI guess being on stage, you know?â
Commenting more broadly on Mr. Combsâ character, Agnifilo added, âI think heâs someone whoâs always going to strive to do something exceptional, and probably demanding and challenging.â
The Daily Mail has reached out to Mr. Combsâ representatives for further comment regarding his post-incarceration plans.
This discussion surrounding Mr. Combsâ future emerges as reports confirm that his legal team has initiated contact with representatives affiliated with former President Donald J. Trump regarding the possibility of a presidential pardon.
Ms. Nicole Westmoreland, another member of Mr. Combsâ legal counsel, confirmed to CNN earlier this week: âItâs my understanding that weâve reached out and had conversations in reference to a pardon.â
According to Ms. Westmoreland, Mr. Combs remains âa very hopeful personâ and is optimistic that former President Trumpâwhom he has known personally for several decadesâmay be receptive to granting clemency.
Former President Trump addressed the subject during a Newsmax interview on Friday, stating: âWell, he was essentially, sort of, half-innocent. I donât know what they doâthat heâs still in jail or something. He was celebrating a victory, but I guess it wasnât as good a victory.â#newsafro_
