In the ongoing sex trafficking proceedings involving Mr. Sean “Diddy” Combs, newly introduced evidence has revealed the existence of text message communications between a male escort and an individual identified as an associate of the defendant. These messages allegedly provided the escort, known as “Jules,” with specific logistical instructions concerning travel arrangements to and from an event described as a multi-day sexual gathering.
According to court filings, the communications were included as part of the evidentiary record submitted by the prosecution. While the identity of the associate in question has not been confirmed, the text message screenshots presented in court refer to the individual only as the “device owner.”
The trial commenced last month and continues to develop with the admission of new evidence relating to the alleged orchestration and facilitation of illicit sexual activity.
According to evidence submitted into the court record, a series of text messages dated August 26, 2009, reveal that an individual identified in the communication logs as “device owner” contacted an escort, known as Jules, inquiring whether he would be willing to travel from Los Angeles to New York City to participate in what was described as a “freak-off.”
The messages indicate that Jules was offered an additional financial incentive or “tip” due to the last-minute nature of the request. Within two minutes of receiving the invitation, Jules responded affirmatively, agreeing to the proposed travel.
Subsequently, the “device owner” transmitted detailed travel information to Jules, including flight arrangements via Virgin America from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.
The unnamed individual, believed to be coordinating on behalf of Mr. Combs, further instructed Jules to make contact when he was prepared to arrange his return flight.
According to the text message evidence submitted into the court record, upon his arrival in New York City in the early hours of August 27, 2009, Jules informed the individual identified as “device owner” that he had landed and would proceed to his hotel room to shower and prepare himself.
Approximately one hour later, the “device owner” instructed Jules to come to Room 4901. Jules acknowledged the directive, replying “OK.”
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on the same day, Jules texted the “device owner” requesting that a return flight to Los Angeles be arranged. In response, the “device owner” agreed to facilitate the booking, but requested that Jules return to the hotel room beforehand, indicating he was expected back within an hour.
Jules responded by requesting additional time to rest, stating that he had not slept in two days and humorously remarking, “u guys r rabbits lol.” The “device owner” replied, “Lol, Ok hit me when you wake. Sorry bro. No stress. U let me know.”
Nearly four hours later, at 7:45 p.m., Jules messaged that he was en route to the room. Fifteen minutes afterward, at 8:00 p.m., he stated he was at the door knocking and asked to be notified if anyone was present. By 8:10 p.m., he surmised that the occupants of the room had stepped out.
The “device owner” ultimately responded at 8:21 p.m., instructing, “OK come up.”#newsafro_
