Bates recalled that both were moved to tears as she showcased different gowns, noting that “everything I came out in just looked exquisite.” Ultimately, she chose a stunning deep royal purple gown adorned with intricate, sparkly embroidery and beading. Bates also clarified that she isn’t ready to retire from her successful career, despite previously suggesting she might step back after her new CBS series concludes.
