O.J. Simpson’s legacy endures in a unique manner, with his cremated remains being incorporated into jewelry. Malcolm LaVergne, O.J. Simpson’s longtime attorney and the executor of his estate, has confirmed to Newsafro.com that these cremation pieces have been distributed among his four adult children.
Following O.J. Simpson’s death, he was cremated in April, with his children consenting to have his ashes transformed into various jewelry pieces. As the executor of the estate, Malcolm LaVergne also provided the necessary written authorization for this process. While LaVergne did not disclose the specific types of jewelry created, such items commonly include necklaces or bracelets featuring miniature urn pendants.
Malcolm LaVergne, the executor of O.J. Simpson’s estate, has stated that he did not receive any of the cremation jewelry, as he had no personal interest in it. The jewelry has been exclusively distributed among Simpson’s four children: Arnelle, Jason, Sydney, and Justin Simpson.
As for the cost associated with this process, Malcolm LaVergne disclosed that the total expenses amounted to $4,243.06. This sum covered the cost of cremation, the creation of the jewelry, and the issuance of death certificates.
As previously reported, Malcolm LaVergne, acting as the executor, is undertaking efforts to liquidate the majority, if not all, of O.J. Simpson’s assets. This action is intended to address the significant debts left by Simpson, including the tens of millions still owed to the Goldman family.
