In a harrowing incident, a stolen Amazon van was seen speeding away after a delivery driver, Claudiu-Carol Kondor, 42, was tragically dragged for half a mile as he desperately clung to the vehicle in an attempt to prevent the theft.
Kondor was delivering Amazon parcels on Tuesday evening in Leeds, West Yorkshire, when his grey transit van was stolen. Despite his efforts to stop the thieves, he was left gravely injured on the road and, sadly, passed away shortly thereafter.
Mr. Claudiu-Carol Kondor, who is survived by his grieving wife, Mariana, sustained fatal injuries when the stolen van collided with parked cars in what appeared to be an attempt by the thieves to dislodge him. Disturbing CCTV footage has since emerged, capturing the moment the van sped away from the scene shortly after the crash.
