Haydn Prager can be described as one of Britain’s worst rapists who repeatedly stabbed a young woman to death.
Prager’s case became what the judge described as a ‘murderous attack’ and was to life in prison in 2012, but has now been released.
The killer and rapist was said to have bursted into a property at night where a brother and sister aged 15 and 20 were sleeping.
Prager – then aged 22 – bursted the victim’s front door, grabbed the woman and started stabbing her repeatedly, locked her in a bathroom and raped her. Subjected to knife attack and rape, her brother charged at Prager to protect his sister but was stopped and also stabbed 11 times.
The woman was tormented throughout her ordeal while her brother was lying lifeless. She managed to make a desperate 999 call for help at the Kent property after Prager fled.
Police found the knife used in the attack was bent, while another broken, while the victim was brutally raped and her hair tied to a sink handle.
The victim, who’s name is withheld, was found with injuries including a 6cm cut to her neck, which severed a major artery, a cut to her tongue, and a fracture to a spinal bone, in what can be described as a gruesome murder.
