Kim Kardashian has publicly revealed the outcome of her July bar exam, confirming that she did not pass, though she remains resolute in her pursuit of a legal career.
The 45-year-old reality star and entrepreneur shared the update via Instagram Stories on Saturday, acknowledging the setback while emphasizing her continued dedication:
“Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV. Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up—just more studying and even more determination.”
Kardashian expressed gratitude toward supporters who have encouraged her along the way and maintained a positive outlook, noting that she came very close to passing:
“Falling short isn’t failure—it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam, and that only motivates me even more. Let’s go!!!!!!!!!!”
A source told TMZ that Kardashian wanted to personally share the news with her fans prior to the official release of results, continuing her long-standing practice of openly documenting her legal journey.
The star has been participating in the California Law Office Study Program (LOSP), a four-year alternative to traditional law school, allowing her to apprentice under practicing attorneys. In May, she celebrated completing the program, with mentors praising her “fierce desire to fight for justice” and her ability to balance raising four children, managing businesses, filming television projects, and advocating in courtrooms. Her mentors highlighted her advocacy work, including securing clemency for clients, reuniting families, and spotlighting systemic flaws in the legal system.
Kardashian, daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, who served as O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney, has stated her long-term ambition is to transition fully into law:
“Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”
Recently, Kardashian also spoke candidly about using ChatGPT for legal advice, joking that it had contributed to past exam failures. During a lie detector test with co-star Teyana Taylor for Vanity Fair, she described the AI as a “frenemy” that both guides and frustrates her, helping her trust her instincts while sometimes providing incorrect answers.
In addition to her real-life legal pursuits, Kardashian stars in Ryan Murphy’s new Hulu legal drama All’s Fair, which premiered on November 4 and features a star-studded cast including Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka.#newsafro_
