Mika Abdalla, star of Prime Video’s “Off Campus,” has confirmed a major change in her personal life as she and actor Jake Short have ended their engagement.
According to Abdalla’s representative, the couple have gone their separate ways but remain on good terms and continue to support each other. The statement also asked for privacy as both actors navigate the breakup.
Abdalla, who plays Allie in the hit series, is currently filming Season 2 of “Off Campus,” which continues to follow her character’s storyline alongside Dean, played by Stephen Kalyn. The show is adapted from Elle Kennedy’s bestselling hockey romance novels.
Abdalla and Short’s relationship began after they met while working on the 2021 Hulu teen film “Sex Appeal,” where they portrayed love interests. They later got engaged in 2025 before ultimately deciding to end their engagement.
