Actresses Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink were among the prominent figures in attendance at the premiere of the final season of Stranger Things, held on Thursday at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Ms. Brown, aged 21, appeared in an elegant off-shoulder black gown, complemented by black lace and feather detailing, accessorized with drop earrings and an updo hairstyle. Her appearance on the red carpet included a public reunion with her co-star, Mr. David Harbour, aged 50, notwithstanding reports that she had previously filed a harassment and bullying complaint against him.
According to Daily Mail’s prior exclusive report, Ms. Brown submitted “pages and pages of accusations” against Mr. Harbour prior to the commencement of filming for the fifth and final season of the acclaimed Netflix series. Nevertheless, the two actors appeared together at the event, posing amicably for photographs, seemingly indicating a professional reconciliation.
Ms. Sink, aged 23, attended the premiere in a white, bejeweled two-piece ensemble consisting of a bra top and a matching long skirt, which accentuated her midriff. She styled her strawberry-blonde hair straight and loose for the occasion.
Despite recent controversies surrounding the alleged complaints, the atmosphere at the premiere remained upbeat. Ms. Brown and Mr. Harbour were seen smiling broadly while posing together, and Netflix shared a video on its official Instagram account depicting the pair exchanging a friendly embrace upon arrival.
Mr. Harbour appeared in a black pinstripe suit with a white shirt, black tie, and matching leather shoes, complemented by his trademark salt-and-pepper mustache. He and Ms. Brown were later joined on the red carpet by Netflix’s Co-Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ted Sarandos, and Chief Content Officer, Ms. Bela Bajaria — a gesture interpreted by observers as indicative of the studio’s effort to project unity among its cast and executives.
Ms. Brown’s spouse, Mr. Jake Bongiovi, with whom she recently adopted a baby girl, was notably absent from the premiere, although he had previously accompanied her to the debut of her Netflix feature film The Electric State in February.
Following the screening, Ms. Brown and Mr. Harbour were reportedly seen engaging in conversation at the official after-party. The actress had changed into a brown corset top paired with a mini skirt and hoop earrings for the post-premiere celebration.
