Stassi Schroeder is opening up about how different life feels on her new reality series House of Stassi, saying it bears little resemblance to her early days on Vanderpump Rules.
Spotted in New York City earlier this week, Schroeder explained that the biggest shift isn’t just the setting—it’s the people around her. Unlike her past experience working alongside “coworkers” at SUR, she says this time the cameras are following her real-life inner circle.
“This time around, it’s my family and my chosen family,” she shared, describing the experience as both more personal and more meaningful, even if it comes with added pressure.
She emphasized that the dynamic on House of Stassi feels far more genuine, noting that the people involved aren’t colleagues she’s simply working with, but her closest friends and loved ones. “They’re my actual favorite people in the world,” she said.
The shift also marks a change in her role behind the scenes. Schroeder revealed she has more creative input this time, saying she’s “a little bit in charge,” a stark contrast to her earlier reality TV days defined by workplace drama and shifting alliances.
While the new series introduces a more intimate approach, familiar faces will still appear, including Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly, along with other friends from her circle.
House of Stassi is set to debut July 29 on Freeform, with the full season streaming on Hulu the following day, offering fans a more personal look at Schroeder’s life beyond her Vanderpump Rules past.#newsafro_
