Ms. Jourdan Dunn, aged 34, made a striking public appearance at the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party held in London on Tuesday.
The British supermodel attended the event wearing a gold, bejewelled halter-neck mini dress, which prominently showcased her physique and garnered considerable public and media attention.
She complemented the ensemble with black strappy high-heeled footwear and accessorised modestly, opting for a pair of gold earrings in keeping with the overall aesthetic of her attire.
Throughout the course of the evening, Ms. Jourdan Dunn actively engaged with the press and event photographers, participating in numerous photo opportunities, including group photographs alongside renowned fashion designers Harris Reed and Peter Dundas.
Following the conclusion of the event, Ms. Dunn was observed departing the venue in high spirits, displaying a cheerful demeanour.
This public appearance follows her recent attendance at a separate high-profile engagement earlier in the month, where she was listed among the principal guests celebrating the one-year anniversary of Mr. Stormzy’s House Party nightclub, located in London’s Soho district.
Ms. Jourdan Dunn delivered a visually arresting appearance in a Western-inspired ensemble of notable distinction.
The model wore a strapless, fringed top paired with form-fitting suede trousers, accentuating her defined abdominal musculature as she partook in post-concert festivities. Prior to this appearance, Ms. Dunn had attended Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier that evening.
Her outfit was completed with a cowboy hat, coordinating boots, a prominent statement necklace, and professionally applied make-up.
Also in attendance was recording artist Mr. Michael Owuo Jr. (professionally known as Stormzy), aged 31, who appeared in high spirits. Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Mr. Owuo was observed engaging enthusiastically with guests, including blowing out candles on a celebratory cake before delivering a live performance.
The event, stylised as an immersive house party, replicated the atmosphere of a casual private gathering, complete with beer pong, red solo cups, table football, and even an in-house tattoo artist located in the bathroom facilities.
American recording artist Nelly, having concluded a performance at The O2 arena earlier that evening, also made a notable appearance. He ascended a kitchen island to perform his hit single Hot In Herre, thereby concluding the night’s entertainment.
The venue, known as House Party, is a multi-storey townhouse located on Poland Street in London’s Soho district. It was developed as a collaborative concept by Mr. Owuo and the Cream Group. The guest list included a range of high-profile individuals, among them Love Island alumna Ms. Samie Elishi and DJ Mary Charteris.
Attendees were served refreshments including ice-chilled 1664 Bière and hot New York-style pizza, in line with the event’s casual-luxury theme. The occasion followed recent musical performances at the venue by acclaimed British artists Mike Skinner and Katy B.
The rapper stated: “Our initial intention was simply to recreate the type of gatherings we once enjoyed—authentic, high-energy events rooted in genuine fun. It’s remarkable how many individuals resonated with that vision. In its inaugural year, our focus was on executing the concept successfully within Soho.”
He continued: “We constantly receive messages asking, ‘When are you coming to my city?’—from Los Angeles to Dubai and beyond. We see them all. Suffice it to say, our objective is not to confine this atmosphere to a single postcode indefinitely.”
This particular event proved to be one of the most notable iterations of the “House Party” series to date. It was produced in collaboration with the distinguished French beer brand 1664 Bière, which served as the exclusive beer sponsor throughout the month of June. The brand’s signature “make it suprême” ethos added a refined dimension to each celebration. Notably, the two parties previously collaborated for an exclusive performance featuring the acclaimed rapper Mike Skinner.
In a separate interview with Harper’s Bazaar, model and entrepreneur Jourdan Dunn discussed her long-term aspirations and strategic vision for personal and professional legacy-building.
She remarked: “My ambition is to become the UK’s Black Martha Stewart. That represents the next phase in establishing an empire—one that fosters generational wealth and ensures the Dunn name continues to resonate well beyond my lifetime.”
Dunn further elaborated: “My son Riley and I are avid hot sauce enthusiasts—we’re always in pursuit of the spiciest varieties. So, my forthcoming venture will span from condiments and seasonings to kitchenware, including cutlery and cookware.”
Ms. Dunn remarked, “I have consolidated my vision through a comprehensive mood board; the next step involves engaging with the appropriate professionals who can assist in executing this concept.”
She also expressed an aspiration to curate a hospitality environment centered around exceptional culinary experiences and an inviting social atmosphere. “The idea of fusing Caribbean and British influences in a gastropub format greatly appeals to me. I would love to create a space where individuals can come together to enjoy high-quality food and a vibrant, welcoming ambiance—that is ultimately the goal.”
She continued: “If you possess a genuine aspiration, why not pursue it? I fully intend to act on mine. I also want to serve as a positive example for my son, Riley—to demonstrate that he should never place limitations on himself.”
In a candid reflection on her professional journey, the model acknowledged the complexities of her relationship with the fashion industry. “My career in modeling has often been marked by a love-hate dynamic,” she explained, referencing the personal sacrifices she made during her formative years.
She elaborated further: “I often perceived it as something that deprived me of the ability to enjoy a typical adolescence, even though I acknowledge that I made the choice voluntarily. At the time, I struggled with low self-esteem and lacked confidence in my physical appearance—I was tall and gangly, which made me feel self-conscious.”
“Although my career trajectory accelerated rapidly, I wasn’t in a position—emotionally or mentally—to fully appreciate or enjoy the success I was experiencing.”#newsafro_
