Spencer Matthews has acknowledged that he does not wish for his children to become “trust fund kids” and has spoken openly about his views on wealth inheritance.
The 36-year-old former Made In Chelsea star, son of multimillionaire hotelier David Matthews—owner of the Eden Rock hotel—was educated at Eton College, where annual fees currently stand at £63,000. Despite his privileged background, Matthews is resolute in ensuring that his children understand the necessity of financial self-sufficiency, affirming that he does not intend to pass down the entirety of his wealth to them.
Spencer Matthews, who shares three children—Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two—with his wife Vogue Williams, has expressed his firm stance on wealth inheritance.
Speaking to The Mirror, he stated: “There’s no point in doing well in life and then giving it all to your kids.
