Liam Gallagher is currently involved in a legal dispute with Liza Ghorbani, the mother of his 12-year-old daughter, Gemma. Ghorbani has filed a claim in the New York Supreme Court seeking an increase in child support payments, described by sources as a “silly amount.” This legal action coincides with Gallagher’s anticipated earnings from the upcoming Oasis reunion tour, which is expected to generate around £50 million.
Previously, in 2015, Gallagher agreed to pay Ghorbani £3,000 per month in child support following a settlement. Despite this agreement, Ghorbani is now seeking increased support, leading to the current legal proceedings. Gallagher, who has reportedly never met his daughter Gemma, has expressed frustration over the situation, suggesting that Ghorbani’s legal team is attempting to leverage his anticipated earnings from the reunion tour.
The Oasis reunion tour, marking the end of a 15-year hiatus, is set to commence in July 2025. The band will perform 14 dates across the UK and Ireland, including venues such as Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and Dublin’s Croke Park.
Tickets for the tour went on sale in August 2024, with reports indicating high demand and rapid sales.
In addition to the UK and Ireland dates, Oasis has announced North American shows as part of their 2025 reunion tour. The band will perform in cities including Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, and Mexico City between August and September 2025. This marks their return to North American stages after a 16-year absence.
The legal proceedings initiated by Ghorbani are ongoing, with Gallagher’s representatives acknowledging the court filing but refraining from further comment.#newsafro_
