The property’s new owner, Anita Verma-Lallian, who purchased the home in an off-market deal in October 2024, expressed her gratitude for the community’s support in protecting the property.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude to the brave firefighters, our amazing neighbors, and the entire Palisades community for their help, strength, and support during this heartbreaking time,” Verma-Lallian shared in an Instagram post on Friday.
Verma-Lallian also acknowledged the efforts of her realtor, Brooke Elliott Laurinkus, who worked diligently to monitor and protect the home from the fires, ensuring its safety amid the ongoing natural disaster. Laurinkus was commended for keeping everyone informed and providing assistance to those in need of temporary housing.
