Adele is reportedly contemplating a move back to London with her fiancé, Rich Paul, as sources reveal she has “become disillusioned with Hollywood.” The singer is said to be planning to spend more time in the UK to reconnect with her roots.
The British singer, 36, recently revealed her plans to take an extended break from performing following the conclusion of her Las Vegas residency this month, cautioning fans that she would be absent for “an incredibly long time.”
Reports now suggest that Adele, who is mother to eight-year-old son Angelo, intends to spend her time away from the spotlight in her hometown of London.
Speaking exclusively to Newsafro.com, an insider revealed that Adele, whose net worth is estimated at $220 million (£173 million), has already begun searching for a property in London.
“Adele has instructed her people to look for a ‘beautiful and secure’ home for her in the capital,” the source disclosed.
The insider clarified that the singer has no intention of selling the $58 million Beverly Hills mansion she shares with her fiancé, Rich Paul, but instead plans to divide her time evenly, spending half of the year in the United States.
The insider revealed, “She plans on keeping her house in LA but wants to spend at least half the year back home.”
Adele concluded her two-year Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 23 and is reportedly determined to use this time to reconnect with her roots. She plans to spend more time in her homeland with her eight-year-old son Angelo and fiancé Rich Paul, sparking speculation among fans of an “early retirement.”
“Rich has been trying to talk her out of it, but Adele is a very strong woman,” the source added. “Once she’s made up her mind, no one can change it.”
A new home in London would expand her impressive UK property portfolio. Despite selling a $3.6 million Art Deco house in Brighton and a $5 million Tudor manor in East Grinstead, Adele still retains an $11 million west London apartment, which features a 24-hour concierge and a climate-controlled wine store.
