Chris Noth was recently spotted looking quite different from his famously dapper Sex and the City character, Mr. Big, as he strolled around Los Angeles in a casual outfit. The 69-year-old actor was seen wearing a loose grey T-shirt and dark, wet-looking sweatpants, a far cry from the polished suits fans are used to seeing him in. Sporting a more laid-back appearance, Noth appeared relaxed as he went about his day, embracing a low-key lifestyle away from the glamour of his past roles.
Known for his suave and sophisticated style in SATC, his current look reflects a much more down-to-earth, everyday vibe.
Chris Noth was recently seen in Los Angeles, looking notably different from his iconic Sex and the City character, Mr. Big. He wore wet charcoal sweatpants, a color-block t-shirt, and sneakers, sporting white scruff and salt-and-pepper hair—a contrast to his sleek, dark-haired, clean-shaven look from the original series. The 69-year-old actor’s casual appearance aligns with his recent low-profile lifestyle since allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced in 2021.
In an interview with USA Today, Noth addressed the allegations, denying any non-consensual encounters and admitting to infidelity, which he described as “devastating” for his wife, Tara Wilson, to whom he’s been married since 2012. The actor acknowledged that his actions stemmed from justifications he made for himself, stating, “You give yourself the same excuses… [thinking] you’re not hurting anybody.”
Four women have accused Noth of sexual misconduct, with two sharing their accounts publicly in December 2021, soon after his character’s death on the SATC spin-off And Just Like That. Following these allegations, Noth was also let go from CBS’s The Equalizer. In response, his former SATC co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis released a joint statement in support of the women who came forward. Noth has since suggested that there may be financial motives behind the accusations, though no criminal charges have been filed as of yet.
