A Philadelphia couple took “rocking the boat” to an extreme when their intimate car session ended abruptly with their vehicle rolling into the Schuylkill River. The unidentified pair were engaged in a steamy encounter in the backseat of a 2020 Range Rover when one of them inadvertently hit the gear shift, causing the car to tumble into the river at approximately 4:15 AM on Wednesday.
Philadelphia Police confirmed that the couple was indeed “enjoying each other’s company” when their vehicle ended up in the Schuylkill River. Fortunately, they managed to escape from the SUV while it was submerged and emerged unscathed. By 9 AM, the Range Rover had been recovered from the river, with images of the submerged vehicle taken near the Strawberry Mansion Bridge.
No charges are pending against the couple. It appears their only consequence was a soggy ride home!
