Savannah Chrisley Confirms Split from Robert Shiver After 19 Months of Dating
Savannah Chrisley has revealed that she and former NFL player Robert Shiver officially ended their relationship on March 6, following 19 months together. The Unlocked podcast host confirmed the breakup on Monday and has since removed all traces of Shiver from her social media profiles.
Shiver, 39, is a Georgia-based father of three and is 12 years older than 26-year-old Chrisley. He remains legally married to his estranged wife, Lindsay Shiver, who is currently under house arrest in Alabama as she awaits trial this August for allegedly conspiring to have him killed.
“I have taken a lot of time to process things and truly grieve the loss of the relationship that I thought was going to be where I was for the rest of my life,” Chrisley told People.
“I have allowed you guys into my life, and that comes with all the highs and all the lows,” Savannah Chrisley shared with her audience. “I’ve been figuring out how to navigate this stage of my life because it sucks, it hurts.”
Chrisley first met Robert Shiver online before arranging their initial meeting at a Morgan Wallen concert at Fenway Park in Boston on August 18, 2023.
Just three months ago, the GoodGirlRx founder, who has 5.9 million followers on social media, excitedly introduced Robert to her fans during the January 7th episode of her podcast. The couple discussed their shared Christian values and their growing relationship, offering a glimpse into their connection.
Savannah Chrisley previously spoke about her discussions on marriage with Robert Shiver, noting, “We both know, ‘Hey, this is what we want out of life.’ But he’s got some stuff to work through on his side of things before that can ever happen.”
Just one month into her relationship with Shiver, Chrisley faced a devastating loss when her former fiancé, retired NHL forward Nic Kerdiles, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident at the age of 29.
Savannah is the eldest daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, both of whom are currently serving prison sentences. The couple has been seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump ahead of their scheduled release in 2035 and 2030, respectively. Todd Chrisley (born Michael) is serving a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, FL, for tax evasion, after being convicted of defrauding community banks of more than $30 million in loans. Julie Chrisley is serving a seven-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY, for charges related to wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
During their trial, it was revealed that Todd’s former lover and business partner, Mark Braddock, who was granted immunity, tipped off authorities about the Chrisleys’ financial crimes.
Fans first became familiar with the Chrisley family through the USA Network’s Chrisley Knows Best, which aired for 10 seasons from 2014 to 2023, as well as the Peacock spin-off Growing Up Chrisley, which ran for four seasons from 2019 to 2022.
Filming continued for the Chrisley family on Monday, including appearances by grandmother “Nanny” Faye and Chase Chrisley, who shared their excitement, saying, “Back like we never left.”#newsafro_
