The upcoming Freedom 250 UFC event is shaping up to be one of the most exclusive sporting events in recent memory — and with only a limited number of tickets available, everyone wants to know who’s getting in.
UFC president Dana White recently revealed how tickets for the historic fight card at the White House are being distributed, explaining that the event’s unique location on the South Lawn means space is extremely limited.
“There’s a lot of people who hit me up for tickets,” White told TMZ Sports while in New York City. “We did invites.”
According to White, President Donald Trump received 1,000 tickets for the event, while White himself and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel were each allotted 200 tickets. The remaining seats will primarily go to members of the military, with every branch expected to be represented during the show.
Unlike a traditional UFC pay-per-view event, no tickets will actually be sold to the public for Freedom 250.
The June 14 card is expected to draw around 4,000 people inside the White House grounds, while thousands more — reportedly close to 85,000 fans — will gather nearby at The Ellipse to watch the action.
The star-studded event is already generating major buzz thanks to a stacked lineup that includes rumored matchups like Justin Gaethje vs. Ilia Topuria and Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane.
Several UFC fighters also recently visited the Oval Office alongside Trump to help promote the event and unveil the specially designed Freedom 250 championship belt.
With celebrity guests, politicians, athletes, and military members all expected to attend, Freedom 250 is already being billed as one of the most talked-about UFC events ever.#newsafro_
