Actor David Harbour was not present at the wedding ceremony of his Stranger Things co-star Maya Hawke, which took place on Saturday at St. George’s Episcopal Church in New York City, notwithstanding reports that he was in the city at the time.
Instead, Harbour, 50, was photographed on February 14 in the company of an unidentified female companion during what was described as a Valentine’s Day outing. The wedding united Hawke, 27, and musician Christian Lee Hutson, 35.
Multiple cast members from the Netflix series Stranger Things were reportedly in attendance, including Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Natalie Dyer. Also present were Hawke’s parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, as well as actors Sam Nivola and Kathryn Newton.
Harbour’s absence occurred approximately one year after his separation from English singer and actress Lily Allen, with divorce proceedings reportedly ongoing.
In November, media reports alleged that Harbour had been the subject of an internal review related to workplace conduct following a complaint made by co-star Millie Bobby Brown. According to unnamed sources cited in those reports, the complaint involved allegations of harassment and bullying and was investigated over a period of months. No formal public findings from the reported inquiry have been disclosed.
In prior public remarks, Harbour has characterized his relationship with Brown as protective and supportive, referencing their longstanding professional association.
Separately, Allen has publicly alluded to marital discord in her musical work, including references in tracks from her album West End Girl. Harbour has addressed the subject of regret in general terms during interviews, stating that personal missteps and challenges form part of an individual’s broader life trajectory.
Neither Harbour nor his representatives have issued a formal statement regarding his absence from the wedding or the reported Valentine’s Day engagement.#newsafro_
