Love Island star Huda Mustafa’s boyfriend, Louis Russell, has stepped back from a custody-related legal battle involving his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Olivera, bringing the case to an end for now.
Court documents show that Russell informed the court on April 28 that he was no longer pursuing his complaint and requested that the case be dismissed without prejudice.
The dispute centered around Russell’s claims that Olivera had been limiting his time with their son, Luka. He also alleged tensions over co-parenting arrangements, including disagreements about who the child would be around during visitation. Russell further claimed that their communication had become strained, accusing Olivera of using custody arrangements as leverage and previously raising concerns about potential relocation.
He had also been seeking an emergency hearing to push for joint legal custody and a clearer parenting plan, but those requests will not move forward following the dismissal.
The development comes after earlier reports that Olivera was granted a temporary restraining order against Mustafa, following allegations involving an incident at her apartment complex. Mustafa has denied those claims publicly.
For now, the custody dispute has been dropped, though the “without prejudice” dismissal leaves the door open for the case to potentially be revisited in the future.#newsafro_
