Will Kopelman, the former husband of actress Drew Barrymore, has welcomed his fourth child, a son named Hugh Radcliffe, nearly ten years after his divorce from Barrymore.
The 47-year-old art consultant and his second wife, Alexandra Michler, announced the birth on Instagram, sharing that little Hughie weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz, and expressing gratitude for their new addition while wishing well-being to all for 2026. The post included images of Michler and Kopelman with their newborn, as well as their two-year-old son, John Keats. In one photograph, Hugh’s eyes were visible only while being held by Kopelman and Barrymore’s eldest daughter, Frankie. Another image showed Kopelman pressing his forehead against his daughter Olive, 13, while she held her infant half-brother.
Kopelman and Barrymore, who divorced in 2016 after four years of marriage, have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship and reportedly participate in group outings alongside their daughters’ stepmother. However, Barrymore has publicly reflected on the emotional toll of their divorce, describing it as a profoundly difficult period in her life in a 2025 interview with AARP The Magazine. She recounted the challenges of balancing work, raising two young children, and coping with the collapse of her “dream family,” noting that the experience left her initially broken but ultimately resilient.
Barrymore has previously discussed the influence of her own family history on her awareness of life’s uncertainties, citing the departure of her late father, John Drew Barrymore, before her birth. In recent years, she has also shared personal experiences with dating challenges, including being ghosted following a Raya app dinner date.
The 50-year-old actress and television host continues to maintain a busy professional schedule, executive producing and hosting the sixth season of The Drew Barrymore Show, which ranks as the second most-watched syndicated talk show behind LIVE! with Kelly and Mark. She also produces and serves as a center-square participant on CBS’ Hollywood Squares, now entering its second season.
Barrymore first rose to prominence as a child star with roles in films such as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Fire-starter, and Irreconcilable Differences, and has since built a multifaceted career in entertainment while navigating personal and familial challenges.#newsafro_
