Zion Idibia, the second son of renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, professionally known as 2Baba, has formally matriculated as an undergraduate student of Pan-Atlantic University.
The development was publicly disclosed by his mother, Sumbo Adeoye, via a post on her verified Instagram account on Saturday. In announcing the milestone, Adeoye stated that Zion has commenced his academic pursuit in finance, noting that his admission was merit-based and congratulating him on his successful matriculation, while expressing optimism for his future endeavors.
Zion is one of two sons born to Adeoye during her prior relationship with the singer, the other being Nino. Adeoye and 2Baba were formerly in a relationship which ended around 2009 following widely reported personal circumstances.
2Baba was previously married to actress Annie Macaulay for over a decade and is currently married to Natasha Osawaru. Adeoye, on her part, is now married to Pastor David Adeoye.
