Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, began their Christmas Day celebrations with a visit to a church service in Sydney.
The Hollywood actress and the musician, both 57, returned to Australia for the festive season with their daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.
The family, who reside in Nashville, honored their Christmas traditions by beginning the day with a church service at St. Francis Xavier Church in Lavender Bay.
The chapel, which serves as the Kidman family’s local church, holds significant sentimental value, as it was the site of the funerals for Nicole’s parents, Janelle and Antony Kidman.
For the Christmas Day service, Nicole exuded elegance in a black dress with a ruffled neckline, paired with dark sandals. She completed her look with a chic black handbag and shielded her eyes with dark sunglasses as she accompanied her family to the service.
Keith Urban looked equally stylish in a powder blue shirt paired with beige chinos, black trainers, and aviator sunglasses.
The couple were accompanied by their daughters, Sunday and Faith, as they shared quality family time to begin their Christmas Day traditions.
Nicole’s two adopted children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, from her marriage to Tom Cruise, are not believed to have joined them for the trip to Australia.
Nicole returned to Australia to reunite with her younger sister, Antonia, 54, and her family as they experience their first Christmas without Nicole’s mother, Janelle. The family has come together to support one another through this bittersweet period, spending time together over the festive season.
The chapel, a significant place for the Kidman family, has been a regular place of worship for them over the years. It was also the site where they bid farewell to Nicole’s mother, Janelle, in September during her funeral service.
