Jenn An has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West and Universal Music Group, alleging gender-motivated violence during a 2010 music video shoot. She claims West’s actions, including choking and gagging her, were abusive and felt more like extreme BDSM or pornographic behavior than professional filming. The suit accuses Universal of enabling this behavior by continuing to support West despite his history of alleged misconduct. She claims West selected her for the project, referencing her ethnicity, and instructed the director to focus the camera on her while he choked and gagged her in a manner meant to simulate forced acts. Jenn An’s lawsuit alleges Kanye West subjected her to degrading and abusive behavior during a 2010 music video shoot, including gagging her with his fingers to simulate forced oral sex. She claims he declared, “This is art. This is f***ing art. I am like Picasso,” during the incident. The allegations are part of her legal action for gender-motivated violence and exploitation. West has not publicly addressed these claims.
Jenn An’s lawsuit also accuses Universal Music Group and other industry figures of attempting to suppress the incident. LaRoux reportedly found the behavior disturbing during the shoot. This legal action follows similar accusations from Kanye West’s former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who amended her lawsuit to include claims of drugging, rape, and other misconduct involving West, including participation in sex parties and promotion of hateful ideologies.
