Chyler Leigh, known for her role as Dr. Lexie Grey on Grey’s Anatomy, has issued a heartfelt tribute following the death of her former co-star Eric Dane with E!, Leigh described Dane as a man with a “heart of gold,” emphasizing his deep devotion to his two daughters and his professional work.
Leigh expressed her grief, stating, “The last 48 hours have been devastating. I never thought I would be using the term ‘had or was,’ but here we are. And I hate it.” She praised Dane’s intellect, humor, and character, remembering him as “an amazing father” who loved his children “fiercely” and was passionately committed to both his work and personal causes. She concluded, “The Universe is undoubtedly holding Eric now, just as I will continue to do within my heart forever.”
