Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has publicly disclosed a serious medical concern that may have implications for her future reproductive options.
In an emotional video shared on TikTok, the 38-year-old reality television personality stated that she has experienced abnormal Pap smear results and the presence of precancerous cervical cells over a period of approximately four years. She described the situation as highly stressful and confirmed that, upon medical advice, she recently underwent a colposcopy and biopsy, which she characterized as painful and distressing.
According to Polizzi, her physician subsequently informed her that the findings were unfavorable, indicating the presence of cancerous cells on the cervix. As a result, she has been advised to undergo a cone biopsy under anesthesia for further diagnostic assessment and potential treatment. Polizzi acknowledged that the procedure is necessary, emphasizing the seriousness of cervical cancer, while admitting that she is fearful of the outcome.
She further disclosed that, depending on the results of the forthcoming procedure, a hysterectomy may be required. While noting that she does not intend to have additional children, Polizzi became visibly emotional when discussing the possibility of losing the ability to do so, describing the prospect as upsetting and frightening. She stressed, however, that her primary concern is preserving her health and remaining present for her existing children.
Polizzi shares three children with her husband, Jionni LaValle. She also acknowledged that she had previously delayed medical appointments due to fear of discomfort and adverse results, and stated that she shared her experience to encourage others to prioritize regular medical screenings and preventative care.
