Controversial singer Habeeb Badmus, professionally known as Portable, has publicly aired a series of disputes involving his father, wife, and one of his baby mothers, escalating tensions within his personal life.
Portable accused his father, Mr. Olalomi, of failing to support him following the death of his mother. In posts and videos shared online, he claimed that despite visiting his father in Abuja, he received neither financial backing nor educational support, with only his aunt assisting him. Portable emphasized that his success came through personal effort, particularly through his tailoring work, and described himself as a “responsible son” who continued to support his father financially and emotionally. He further alleged that his father attempted to take advantage of his wealth, seizing shoes, clothes, and encroaching on his properties, likening the situation to the late singer Mohbad’s family dispute.
Separately, Portable is involved in a public controversy with one of his baby mothers, actress Ashabi Simple. The dispute reportedly began on January 1, 2026, during a New Year visit to his bar in Ogun State, centering on Ashabi’s objection to being called a “baby mama.” Portable maintained that his wife, Bewaji, remains his only spouse. The disagreement allegedly escalated into physical confrontation, with Ashabi accusing Portable of assault, phone confiscation, and threatening her and her siblings with an axe. Portable later released a diss track titled Pami Baby, accusing Ashabi of threatening his family—claims she denies.
Portable has also publicly criticized his wife, Bewaji, alleging that she neglects him and fails to provide proper care, including timely meals and intimacy. He claimed her actions are influenced by fear that other women may pursue him, asserting that his celebrity status and wealth naturally attract attention from other women.
