Renowned international boxer Anthony Joshua was reportedly involved in a road traffic accident on Monday at Makun, Ogun State. The incident is said to have occurred along a busy section of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, specifically near Danco Filling Station, close to the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound carriageway.
According to preliminary reports, the vehicle conveying Mr. Joshua was involved in a collision with another vehicle under circumstances that remain subject to investigation. Mr. Joshua reportedly sustained minor injuries, while two other individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
As of the time of filing this report, efforts to obtain official confirmation and further details from the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), through its Commandant, Mr. Akinbiyi Babatunde, had not yielded a response.#newsafro_
