Gisele Bündchen has entered into a second marital union, having privately married her fiancé, Joaquim Valente. The ceremony took place at the couple’s residence in Surfside, Florida, as confirmed by a marriage license reviewed by the Daily Mail. The license was issued on December 1, 2025, and the marriage was solemnized on December 3, 2025. Representatives for Ms. Bündchen have been contacted for comment.
Ms. Bündchen, aged 45, and Mr. Valente—who previously served as the family’s Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor—were married slightly over three years after the finalization of her divorce from former professional football player Tom Brady. The couple has one child together, a son born on February 5, 2025. Ms. Bündchen also has two older children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, from her prior marriage to Mr. Brady.
Although the wedding was conducted privately, some family members were reportedly present. Ms. Bündchen and Mr. Valente were initially introduced in December 2021 at the Valente Brothers jiu-jitsu academy, during which time Ms. Bündchen and her children began training under Mr. Valente’s instruction. At that time, Ms. Bündchen remained married to Mr. Brady, though reports indicated marital difficulties in the months preceding their October 28, 2022, divorce, which was finalized the same day.
The couple began dating publicly in mid-2023, with the relationship confirmed in February 2024. Ms. Bündchen stated that the relationship commenced only after the dissolution of her prior marriage and described it as grounded in friendship, honesty, and transparency.
Following their marriage, Ms. Bündchen returned to Brazil to attend a Vivara jewelry event in São Paulo. She notably wore a dress with extended sleeves, obscuring her left hand and any potential wedding ring.
The couple has not publicly disclosed the name of their son, though reports suggest his middle name is “River,” consistent with the aquatic-themed middle names of Ms. Bündchen’s older children.
Ms. Bündchen’s prior marriage to Mr. Brady began in 2007, following which the couple became engaged in January 2009 and married in February 2009. They have two children together and resided in Costa Rica for portions of their marriage. Mr. Brady retired from professional football after two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, following a 20-year tenure with the New England Patriots, during which he won seven Super Bowl titles.#newsafro_
