B Red, a Nigerian recording artist and cousin to Afrobeats performer David Adeleke (professionally known as Davido), reportedly presented comedian Trinity Guy with a monetary gift in the sum of ₦10,000,000 during a promotional engagement held in Ibadan, Oyo State.
A video published by Trinity Guy on Saturday depicts the comedian expressing extreme gratitude, including by prostrating and rolling on the floor in acknowledgment of B Red’s gesture. In the footage, he appears visibly emotional and states: “Nigeria! Davido’s brother, B Red, has given me ₦10 million. Nigerians, please help me thank him. 30BG for life. Thank you so much. My life has changed.”
He further urged members of the public to stream B Red’s newly released single, “Bend Down Select,” noting that it is available on all major music platforms.
The 23-year-old content creator—who has long identified as a supporter of Davido—became emotional as B Red announced the gift onstage. The development followed Trinity Guy’s recent backstage encounter with Davido, which he described as having opened “new doors of blessing” in his life.
The video has since circulated widely on social media platform X, generating mixed reactions. While many users commended the display of generosity within the entertainment sector, others questioned the authenticity or underlying intent of the gesture.
B Red is recognized as a Nigerian singer and a member of Davido’s music collective, commonly associated with the DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) imprint.#newsafro_
