The 54-year-old fashion designer—scheduled to appear on season fifteen of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills—discussed the dissolution of her marriage in a promotional teaser released at BravoCon on Friday. In the segment, Zoe addressed her friend Kathy Hilton, stating: “I’m trying to look at [Rodger] as a friend… I’m not there yet.”
Zoe further analogized her marital relationship to that portrayed in the film The Notebook, noting that she and Berman had been married for twenty-six years and together for thirty-three. She elaborated: “We were together for eighteen years before we had children. I think after we had children… I think it changes, at the end of the day. I think we’ve outgrown each other; we became very different people.”
The former spouses share two minor children, sons Skyler, age 14, and Kaius, age 11. Zoe will participate in the forthcoming season of RHOBH alongside cast members Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, Dorit Kemsley, and newcomer Amanda Frances. She announced her involvement in the series via Instagram in the summer, writing: “Here we go again @bravotv !!!✨ I am officially joining #TheRealHousewivesofBeverlyHills and back with my Bravo family. Let’s do this! #RHOBH.”
Zoe previously starred in her own Bravo reality program, The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired for five seasons from 2008 through 2013. Regarding her return to television, she stated in a video released in June: “It’s been a while and you’ve been asking me to come back to television, and I said when the stars align or it makes sense or I have enough to say to share with all of you, and now is the time. Really excited to be with all of you again and I hope you are too, so let’s have some fun! Mwah!”
Season fifteen of the series is scheduled to premiere on Bravo on December 4, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
Zoe publicly announced her separation from Berman, whom she married in 1996, via social media in September 2024. The couple initially met in the early 1990s while attending George Washington University. In her announcement, Zoe stated: “After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage. We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together. Our number one priority has been and will always be our children. We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share. We ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this new chapter.” She concluded: “With love and gratitude — Rachel & Rodger.”
Zoe officially filed for divorce in July 2025.#newsafro_
