On Monday, Ms. Cindy Crawford, aged fifty-nine, published via her Instagram account a series of photographs depicting herself with her two sisters, Ms. Chris and Ms. Danielle Crawford. The occasion was the wedding of her nephew, at which the siblings were reunited.
Ms. Crawford, who is widely recognized for her professional modeling career and is the mother of Ms. Kaia Gerber, shared the images with her 8.2 million followers, captioning the post: ‘Summer wedding road trip. Congratulations @laurelkor and @jakejeffreyb!’
Among the images disseminated was one in which Ms. Crawford appeared positioned between her sisters, with whom she was raised in the State of Illinois.
In the Instagram carousel post, Ms. Cindy Crawford also included appearances by her spouse, Mr. Rande Gerber, aged sixty-three, and their daughter, Ms. Kaia Gerber, aged twenty-three.
Ms. Crawford and her sisters, Ms. Chris and Ms. Danielle, had a younger brother, Jeffrey, who predeceased them at the age of three due to leukemia. A photograph shared by Ms. Crawford suggested that Ms. Chris officiated the wedding ceremony of her son, Mr. Jake Bohnsak. The image depicted an outdoor ceremony conducted beneath a blue sky, with a backdrop of mountains and tall trees.
During travel to the wedding’s location—which Ms. Crawford did not publicly identify—she and Mr. Gerber made a stop at a Burger King restaurant. One of the images showed Mr. Gerber seated in a booth wearing a paper crown, with a tray of food placed before him.
Ms. Kaia Gerber was also photographed with extended family members in another image. For the occasion, she was attired in a black halter-neck dress of plunging design, accompanied by a black cardigan and black ballet flats.
While Ms. Crawford has pursued a career of international renown in Los Angeles, her sisters have remained largely private. Over the years, she has occasionally shared images of them via social media.
Ms. Crawford’s son, Mr. Presley Gerber, has similarly pursued a career in modeling, being affiliated with DNA Models. Ms. Kaia Gerber has extended her professional activities to both stage and screen, appearing earlier this year in the play Evanston Salt Costs Climbing. She is next scheduled to appear in season two of Apple TV+’s Palm Royale, which is slated to premiere on November 12.
