Celine Dion, aged 57, made an unannounced public appearance at Coldplay’s concert held over the weekend at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, drawing significant attention in light of her ongoing medical condition, stiff-person syndrome.
The Grammy Award-winning vocalist—who had recently addressed fans with an emotional message during the Eurovision semi-finals—was observed seated in the audience and received a brief musical tribute from Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.
A TikTok video recorded by an attendee captured the moment a camera panned to Ms. Dion, prompting enthusiastic cheers and applause from the crowd in recognition of her presence.
Ms. Dion appeared visibly moved by the audience’s warm reception, standing and responding with a cordial wave and a gesture placing her hand over her heart.
During his performance, the lead vocalist of Coldplay, Chris Martin, addressed Ms. Dion with a dedicated tribute, stating: “Oh Celine, my beautiful sister. You make my heart go on and on. Near. Far. You’re a total superstar. Let’s hear it for the legendary Celine Dion!”
