Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen have maintained a public dispute spanning several years. Their ongoing conflict has drawn comparisons to the infamous rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, albeit reimagined within the context of contemporary reality television culture.
Recently, their names have resurfaced in the public discourse following comments made by television host and producer Andy Cohen, whose remarks have reignited interest in their contentious relationship.
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen raised the topic of the ongoing tension between Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen by referencing the portmanteau “Pardashian,” combining their surnames.
La La Anthony, a close friend of Kardashian and guest on the show, appeared visibly displeased by the line of questioning, subsequently characterizing Cohen’s approach as “messy.”
Despite the awkward exchange, Cohen succeeded in obtaining confirmation that Kardashian and Pippen do not maintain regular communication. Given that Kardashian resides in Hidden Hills, California, while Pippen is based in Miami, Florida, this lack of contact was arguably unsurprising.
Andy Cohen initiated the discussion with a direct inquiry: “Do you still see Larsa Pippen?”
La La Anthony replied, “I haven’t seen her in a while. Probably, like, I don’t know, a year maybe. I don’t go to Miami a lot. She’s mostly in Miami and I don’t go there a lot.”
Cohen then probed further: “Is she still in the Kim K. universe?”
Anthony responded quietly, almost whispering, “I don’t see her,” followed by a laugh and the remark, “You’re kind of messy. … You just do it with such a straight face.”
Cohen responded with humor, “Have you ever met me? … I like to know.”
In April 2020, Kim Kardashian and her sisters unfollowed Larsa Pippen on Instagram. Later that year, Pippen attributed the dissolution of their friendship to Kardashian’s then-husband, Kanye West. During a November 2020 interview on the Hollywood Raw podcast, Pippen stated, “If Kanye feels like him and Kim are better without me, then let them be without me. I’m OK with that. … I will survive.”
In 2021, on her reality series The Real Housewives of Miami, Pippen remarked, “People thought I couldn’t make it without some old friends. I’m great. I just basically want to, like, live my best life, have fun, do whatever I want unapologetically.”#newsafro_
