Gigi Hadid, aged 30, openly referred to Bradley Cooper, aged 50, as her “man” while discussing their age-gap relationship, marking a rare occasion where she addressed their romance amid ongoing speculation regarding a potential engagement.
During an interview with Vogue at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, Hadid provided insight into her and Cooper’s life together. The model was questioned by red carpet correspondent Emma Chamberlain about her activities in the hours leading up to her arrival at the prestigious event.
Hadid, who attended the high-profile event without Bradley Cooper, initially shared details of a private morning spent with the Oscar-nominated actor at his New York City residence.
“I woke up. I was with my man. We had a chill morning, some laughs, you know,” Hadid casually recounted during her conversation with Chamberlain.
The model further explained that she later returned to her own residence in Noho, where she took some time for herself before preparing for the gala.
Hadid, the runway model, disclosed that her pre-gala meal consisted of “chicken fingers and fries” before she donned a custom gold Miu Miu gown for the event.
Her remarks about her relationship with Bradley Cooper come shortly after she went “Instagram official” with the Oscar-nominated actor, marking nearly two years of their relationship. On Saturday, Hadid took to social media to share images from her star-studded birthday celebration the previous week, where she was seen wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger.
In the post, which was shared with her 77 million followers, Hadid included a snapshot of herself kissing the 50-year-old filmmaker. She affectionately held his face in her hands as they shared a passionate kiss behind a multi-tier chocolate birthday cake.
The mother of one, who shares a four-year-old daughter, Khai, with her ex-partner Zayn Malik, began the caption by expressing gratitude for turning 30: “I feel so lucky to be 30! I feel so lucky for every high and low — for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all!”
She subtly referenced her relationship with Cooper in the continuation of the post: “I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!”
Hadid further acknowledged the support she has received from her global following, stating, “So lucky for the support and encouragement from all of YOU around the world, every day and on my birthday last week.”#newsafro_
