Justin Bieber seems to be addressing ongoing speculation surrounding alleged “marriage woes” by offering a cryptic yet supportive gesture towards his wife, Hailey.
On Tuesday, the pop star, who has faced his share of personal challenges, posted an image of Hailey in her Met Gala attire, accompanied by the caption: “Tell em uncle charlie.”
The caption is thought to reference hip hop legend Charlie Wilson, as his song “There Goes My Baby” played in the background of the post.
Hailey Bieber, aged 28, attended the Met Gala solo, as her husband, 31-year-old Justin Bieber, opted to spend the evening watching a hockey game in Los Angeles.
The post shared by Justin began with an image of Hailey in a striking little black dress (LBD) that she wore to the event, martini in hand, followed by another photograph of her in a different short dress before the gala.
Despite recent rumors surrounding potential marital discord, the post appeared to alleviate concerns, as fans expressed relief and approval at seeing the Baby singer publicly support his wife.
One fan expressed admiration, writing, “We love a supportive husband.”
Another commented, “Just a husband praising his WIFE.”
A third post read, “One thing Justin gon do is Stan tf out of his wife. Love to see it.”
Others suggested the post was a strategic show of affection, with one remarking, “Now this is how you convince people you love your wife, keep this up.”
However, some skeptics raised doubts about the authenticity of the post. A few fans speculated that Hailey might have shared the photos herself using Justin’s phone, despite the couple being in different locations. One individual stated, “This girl really thinks we think Justin is posting this,” while another remarked, “I think she posted it. Everyone knows.”
In contrast, one fan strongly defended the couple, writing, “And Justin and Hailey are not in the same place, so this is definitely him. Cry haters.”#newsafro_
