Kristin Cavallari, 38, has publicly refuted persistent speculation suggesting she was romantically involved with actor Chris Evans in 2008, a time during which the two were reportedly part of a shared social circle.
Speaking on the April 15 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, Cavallari clarified: “We saw each other socially,” before unequivocally denying any romantic history. “I never dated Chris Evans. Ever, ever, ever. Didn’t even go on one date with him. Literally, nothing ever happened. And there’ve been these rumors for years that we dated. Well, we’ve never dated.”
Her statement aims to dispel longstanding tabloid narratives and conclusively remove Evans from what she humorously referred to as her “dating portfolio.”
Kristin Cavallari firmly reiterated her stance, adding, “It’s not f***ing true, so you can remove him from my dating portfolio. Thank you very much!”
As for Chris Evans, the 43-year-old Red One action star, he married Borderline actress Alba Baptista 19 months ago. Before settling down with Baptista, Evans had notable relationships with several high-profile actresses, including Kate Bosworth, Jessica Biel, Emmy Rossum, Jenny Slate, Minka Kelly, Lily Collins, and Christina Ricci.
Evans and Baptista, who is 16 years his junior, began dating in 2021 and have since been considering expanding their family, with plans to adopt a “furry sibling” for their 10-year-old dog, Dodger.
In August, Chris Evans opened up to People about his and Alba Baptista’s thoughts on adopting a second dog. “It’s on our mind,” he shared. “The question becomes, do we do the puppy route, or do we adopt an older dog? I wish I knew if it’s what he [Dodger] wanted. I wish I could just ask him because he loves being around dogs. But when it’s bedtime, if there’s another dog coming in the room, he might be like, ‘Hold on.’ So, I don’t know.”
Evans’ upcoming projects include Materialists, a rom-com where he stars alongside Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal, set to hit US theaters on June 13. He also has roles in Sacrifice, a comedy directed by Romain Gavras, and Ethan Coen’s Honey Don’t!.
Meanwhile, Kristin Cavallari reflected on the media frenzy last December regarding her comments about Kevin Costner, who she called her “forever crush” during an episode of her podcast. She explained, “Of course, he’s like an all-timer, you know what I mean? He is forever, like, he’s Kevin Costner, he’s always good-looking. He’s just that guy. But I don’t have like an active crush on him.”
Cavallari, who recently ended her seven-month relationship with 25-year-old Mark Estes in September, is currently in a long-distance “deep fling” with retired NHL player Nate Thompson.#newsafro_
