Michelle Keegan epitomized maternal devotion in heartwarming photographs from her inaugural family trip alongside her husband, Mark Wright, and their infant daughter, Palma.
The Coronation Street actress, 37, and the TOWIE star, 34, publicly announced the birth of their first child in March and have since been embracing the early stages of parenthood.
The couple is presently indulging in a scenic countryside retreat at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, marking their first getaway since Palma’s arrival.
On Thursday, Michelle Keegan took to Instagram to share a series of heartfelt photographs from her family holiday, including an image of her cradling her four-week-old daughter, Palma.
In the photograph, Michelle affectionately kissed Palma’s forehead while holding her close to her chest, standing on the porch of their countryside cabin.
The Fool Me Once actress maintained a relaxed yet stylish appearance in brown leggings and a cream collared jacket, paired with white sandals. She exuded maternal devotion in the touching image and also posted endearing snapshots of Mark Wright with their daughter.
In one picture, Mark was seen reclining in bed wearing a dressing gown, holding Palma on his chest, offering a glimpse into their peaceful family retreat.
Michelle further documented their getaway with a selfie alongside Mark, both smiling as they enjoyed a day out. She donned an elegant cream-striped suit with a matching blazer, while Mark opted for a coordinated grey ensemble.
Accompanying the post, Michelle wrote: “A little break away filled with special memories.” Mark shared the same images on his own profile, captioning them: “In my Dad era… trip away with my girls.”
Recently, Mark spoke about the challenges of first-time parenthood during his Heart FM show with co-host Olly Murs, who also welcomed his first child, Madison, with his wife Amelia Tank last year.
His remarks followed a listener’s message about the exhaustion of sorting through their child’s clothes, a sentiment to which Mark openly related.
Mark jokingly responded: “Lisa, I’m going to go back to what you just said there—sorting your clothes in your room is tiring? Don’t talk to me about tired right now.”
“Because Palma, my little baby, is making me extremely tired. I turned up this morning, and Olly said, ‘You look shattered.’”
Laughing, Olly quipped: “You know what, it’s your eyes—this is the first time I’ve ever seen these little bags in all the years I’ve known you. It’s a dad thing, a parent thing. All of a sudden, you get these little bags under your eyes.”
Mark agreed, adding: “Yeah, they talk about dad bod, but they never warn you about dad eyes.”
Despite the sleep deprivation, Mark expressed his immense joy over fatherhood, calling it “the best thing ever.” However, he admitted that “trying to wind her after a bottle at 2 a.m. is a nightmare.”
Since welcoming Palma with Michelle on March 6, Mark has described becoming a father as the “biggest achievement” of his life. Speaking to Olly, he added: “Mate, it’s actually hard to put into words.”#newsafro_
