Helen Flanagan confidently showcased her new look in a pink lace lingerie set, humorously telling her followers that her breasts had become “so saggy” she could “tie them in bows.” The 34-year-old mother-of-three, who shares Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with her ex-fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair, opened up about the reasons behind her decision to undergo breast surgery.
Flanagan explained that the loss of volume in her breasts, a result of breastfeeding, led her to seek a solution. In January 2023, the former Coronation Street star visited Pall Mall Cosmetics to regain confidence in her body and restore the fullness she had lost.
In a recent Instagram post, Helen Flanagan addressed the frequent questions she receives about her breast surgery, writing, “I get asked a lot about my boob job in my DMs. I breastfed 3 babies for 3 years in total.” She humorously added, “At the end you could have tied my boobs in a bow (laughing emoji), though I have no regrets at all in breastfeeding my babies.”
Helen further explained that she chose to undergo breast enlargement surgery with Mr. Hussain, who made her feel completely comfortable and assured that she was in good hands throughout the process.
Helen Flanagan shared more details about her breast enlargement surgery, revealing that she chose Pall Mall Cosmetics and worked with Mr. Hussain, who made her feel comfortable and assured throughout the process. She said, “I’m glad I didn’t have to have a lift and I could have them naturally lifted by the implants.”
After several consultations, Helen decided on a 340CC Motiva Round implant with dual plane placement, explaining, “I had a few consultations until I was truly happy with the decision of my implant size which were 340cc – Motiva Round – opted for dual plane placement x.”
She also shared how her weight loss following her breakup impacted her decision, noting, “I lost a lot of weight from my breakup and I didn’t want my boobs to be too big for my frame but I needed them to fill out the skin that needed lifting.” Now, she feels that the implants are “just perfect for my frame” and that they look “really natural, like my boobs before my kids.”
Reflecting on her struggles with body image, Helen recalled feeling insecure in her relationship, saying, “When I look back to when I really wanted my surgery done, it was sad as I didn’t feel confident and sexy with their dad, I always had to have a bra on and I was so self-conscious about my boobs.” She also shared an emotional memory: “I remember crying in the shower after when I finished feeding Delilah as I just didn’t feel like me and I was so self-conscious of my boobs and how the skin just sagged, even though their dad always said I was beautiful.”
Helen went on to explain that she waited until after having her youngest child, Charlie, to undergo the surgery, prioritizing her decision to feel confident in her own body once again.
Helen Flanagan further elaborated on her decision to undergo breast surgery, explaining, “I knew I wasn’t done having babies though, so I waited till after Charlie to have my boobs done. Before kids, I was a natural E cup, and after 3 pregnancies and 3 years of breastfeeding, I couldn’t even fit a B cup bra without it being baggy.”
She expressed no regrets about her breastfeeding journey, saying, “I don’t regret any of my breastfeeding, it was such a beautiful, precious part of my life and I loved the bonding with the babies…” However, she admitted that she doesn’t foresee having more children, noting, “I don’t think I’ll ever have a baby again though. I think it’s sad as women to say ‘that’s me done now, never ever again,’ so I’d rather say it’s highly unlikely for me that I will ever have another baby again.”
Helen explained that the decision was also rooted in her desire to focus on her current family, sharing, “I think because for me it would be nice to get my life a bit calmer again and being a mum and struggling on and off sometimes with mental health, it can be hard. So I’d rather just put all my focus on my beautiful babies that I do have, and our bonds will just get closer (I hope) the older they get x.”
Helen, who split from her long-term partner Scott Sinclair in 2022 after 13 years together, is now in a relationship with former footballer Robbie Talbot.#newsafro_
