Annie Kilner, the estranged wife of Kyle Walker, has not dismissed the possibility of making a public statement regarding their separation on Celebrity Big Brother, particularly given ITV’s reported offer of a £750,000 appearance fee.
Producers of the long-standing reality series are reportedly eager to secure Kilner’s participation, anticipating that she may disclose compelling details about her relationship with the England international.
Meanwhile, Walker, 34, is currently in Italy following a high-profile loan move to AC Milan, where he aims to regain form and solidify his position within the national squad under newly appointed Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel.
However, the full-back’s wife has remained in Cheshire with their four children while he pursues his career in Italy. Sources suggest that participating in reality television could provide her with a rare platform to present an authentic portrayal of herself to the public.
A television industry insider informed MailOnline: “As with all celebrity reality shows, numerous names are considered, but certain individuals generate significant excitement. At present, Annie is at the center of that discussion.
“It is widely recognized that securing her participation would be a major coup. Much like Coleen Rooney, she enjoys substantial public support, yet she has not had the opportunity to define her own narrative beyond tabloid speculation.”
“It remains a long shot, but the combination of a substantial financial incentive and the opportunity to set the record straight may ultimately influence her decision. For now, producers have clarified that all circulating names remain speculative.”
Sources previously indicated that Kilner’s marriage to Walker has deteriorated further, particularly after he made the decision to move abroad without consulting her.
A source informed The Sun: “That’s how strained things have become. This is the worst it has ever been. He didn’t even sit her down to discuss relocating to Italy—he simply informed her, ‘I’m going, it’s up to you if you follow.’”
“They are not in a good place and are barely communicating. It remains uncertain whether Annie will eventually join him in Italy. Everything is in flux, though this level of uncertainty has persisted since the scandal first came to light.”
Walker was previously asked to leave the family home after confirming he had secretly fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman, including one conceived during his marriage to Kilner.
Despite speculation regarding a high-value divorce settlement, reconciliation seemed possible when Walker returned to their Cheshire residence and spent Christmas with Kilner and their children. However, he has since moved to Italy following a dip in form at Manchester City, with Kilner notably absent from his official unveiling at AC Milan’s San Siro Stadium.
It is understood that ITV initially approached Goodman for Celebrity Big Brother, but their focus has now shifted to securing Kilner’s participation.#newsafro_
