The TV personality has addressed speculation from fans about whether she has been using Ozempic or similar weight-loss injections to achieve her slimmer figure. Katie Price has firmly denied taking any form of weight-loss drugs, instead attributing her recent transformation to a return to her natural size after weight gain caused by IVF treatments and limited mobility following a foot injury.
Speaking on Rob Moore’s Disruptors podcast, Katie explained, “People have said I’ve lost loads of weight. There’s a programme coming out in January, my IVF journey. Anyone who’s had IVF knows you put on weight. I had three rounds of IVF in the past 15 months, all of which failed.”
She also detailed the challenges she faced after breaking her feet, which left her in a wheelchair for 10 months. “They said I’d never run again. I wasn’t exercising, couldn’t ride my horses, and basically wasn’t moving around, so of course, you gain weight.”
Katie added, “I had to learn to walk again, slowly. I still can’t run because of the screws in my feet. On top of that, the IVF pumped me full of hormones, and it takes a long time for them to leave your body.”
Katie Price addressed the ongoing speculation about her weight loss, stating that she has always been naturally slim and simply “shrinks back” to her usual size after periods of weight gain. She attributed her recent weight changes to her IVF treatments and limited activity due to her foot injury. As she becomes more active, including riding horses again, Katie claims she is returning to her more athletic physique.
When asked again about using Ozempic, Katie confirmed, “No, but Harvey’s going on that. So I’ve had to sit there with the doctors.” She expressed concern about the medication, particularly in relation to her son Harvey’s health, and emphasized that she doesn’t need Ozempic for weight loss.
Katie further clarified, “I’ve always been skinny. Look at old pictures of me. Always been tiny.” Despite her reassurances, her noticeably slimmer appearance in a recent Instagram video, where she danced in a cropped loungewear set, sparked fresh concerns among fans.
